How can I get into voice acting?

You can imagine that in a career spanning a quarter of a century, Guy Michaels has been asked this question hundreds, if not thousands of times!
So…how can I get into voice acting?
First, there is no single path to voiceover success. Although a voice actor needs to develop an entire set of skills to create, develop and sustain a voiceover career, each new voiceover artist will have a different starting point. It is key to identify your strengths and weaknesses as you enter this competitive industry and then work hard and smart to improve the skills that will propel you to become a voice actor for real.
Here are some of the basics, but of course throughout our free voiceover resources and especially within the membership you’ll find pretty much everything you need for getting started in voiceover.
